So the weather today was definitely not my favorite.
It was cold & rainy. It was definitely a day to stay in & be lazy all day but instead I went & saw My Grandparents at their store.
Uncle Bup was down there also so Addison entertained them all day.
Like seriously.
Grandpa enjoying his new hobby. People laugh about me saying he needs a kindle but seriously he does..
Grandpa kept asking me "Where did I get that app."
Funniest thing ever.
Addison was begging to go play in the "mud puddies."
So of course I let her.
I'm pretty sure if I was five & owned a pair of rain boots I would've been playing in the "mud puddies" too.
I was definitely regretting this decision after five seconds when she jumped in the first puddle & soaked her pants.
I'm so happy I was blessed with such a funny baby. She is saying & doing the funniest things these days. Grandma put this bag over her head. So we drew her a face on it.
She didn't want to take the bag off & actually thought we were taking it home. Which was a big negative.
Just so everyone knows I don't normally encourage her to put bags on her head. Considering she was making my Grandparents laugh I figured it was okay for the moment.
We had a fun day. I love My Grandparents & love spending time with them.
My most rewarding part of the day definitely came tonight when we stopped to give the homeless guy the ice he had asked for a few days ago. Of course we didn't just give him ice. We also grabbed him four burgers from Mcdonalds. Daniel had a little more time to talk to him today. He told Daniel he was a traveling preacher & God had called on him to travel across America spreading his word. He quoted some of the Bible to Daniel. He said he was so happy to get the ice cause he just wanted a cold drink even on a cold day like today. I just can't express the respect I have for this man now. I no longer feel sorry for him. He is doing such an amazing thing. I am just so happy that we met him & took time out of our lives not only to help someone but to get to know him & realize what a wonderful thing he is doing.
"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me in."
Matthew 25:35
